Third Lucky Group - Thanks to TSB Community Trust

Early in 2006, we found out that part of the Eltham School was to be demolished, including the bit that our netpod was in. So we had to move.

We found a good place in the Eltham Community Centre, and set up the netpod there. Improvements needed to be made. There were cables going everywhere. The computers were somewhat cramped. Half of the room was only accessible if we went down the corridor and unlocked another door to get into it. The chairs were not suitable.
We took down part of the wall dividing the room. It lightened up the teaching space and gave us the illusion of more room.

This was done in time for the third Computers in Homes group. Still have cables going everywhere, however. We found that if someone bumped the phone cable, everyone lost their internet connection.

We were able to run this group thanks to funding from TSB Community Trust.

We are still working on the problems.
