At the end of 2005, Laurence from the 2020 Communications Trust contacted our group and offered help in applying for funding from DIA's Community Partnership Fund.
Frantic activity ensued. We received notification in early 2006 that we'd passed the first hurdle, and it was time to make a run for the next.
In the meantime, our second class started in May 2006. We were given more funding from the 2020 Trust and Computers in Homes national group to have this class while we waited to hear about our CPF bid.
