A New Trust

Eltham Computers in Homes is going forward in 2009 with the formation of a new trust.
Taranaki E-Learning Trust was set up in November 2008 with five trustees: Karen Cave, Richard Oliver, David Birchler, Chester Borrows and Troy Egan.

Elaine Gill has gracefully consented to be our Patron. She's a very busy lady, and while she offered her aid in setting up the trust, she was unable to become a trustee. She was grateful to know that her involvement as patron will be limited to attending functions and accepting prizes on our behalf!

The Taranaki E-Learning trust takes over the Computers in Homes challenge from Eltham Community Care, who helped us manage and oversee the 2006-2008 Computers in Homes project with funding from DIA's Community Partnership Fund.

Our trust deed is based on the 2020 Communications Trust deed so that we can be aligned with the other regional 2020 trusts that are being created throughout the country.
